Snapshots from our “This is My Ontario” stories

Old Woman Bay, Ontario

We asked you to share your favourite Ontario travel stories and heard about amazing adventures and experiences from across the province. Toni Rutland told us about her connection with Old Woman Bay, located along the north coast of Lake Superior. An outdoor enthusiast, Toni was drawn by the region’s natural beauty and endless outdoor activities.

Since debuting Toni’s story we’ve heard about your favourite moments in this region & even about your connection with Toni!

@Loimere shared this story on his blog:

Toni Rutland is in a new video for Ontario Tourism about Old Woman Bay back home near Wawa, it is funny because like Toni I landed up in Peterborough as well, but still call Wawa home.

We heard from residents Wawa about how the story reminded them of home, or of special trips they had taken to Old Woman Bay. Thanks to everyone for sharing their “This Is My Ontario” stories & keep them coming!

Beautiful area.

How are these people going to feel once all the Industrial Wind Turbines blight the landscape.
