Hidden Gem – The Gladstone Hotel, Toronto

Attention art & history lovers! The Gladstone Hotel brings together stunning rooms designed by local artists with traditional Victorian Architecture. The Gladstone is over 100 years old and is the oldest continuously running hotel in Toronto. In 2005 it was transformed into an Art Hotel, but the original floor plans were maintained with few exceptions.Take a peek into a few of their stunning rooms and start planning your next trip to Toronto!

Canadiana Room

The Canadiana room is a medley of Ontario moments: Warm wood textures and the feeling of being tucked away in a whimsical cabin. Chef Marc Breton and his staff offer a menu of classic Canadian favourites  with a focus on local, fair trade, and organic ingredients.

Snapshot Room
One of Toronto’s other gems is High Park. Encompassing 400 acres of parkland, landscape is hilly, with two deep ravines extending the full north-south distance of the park. High Park was the inspiration for this room at the Gladstone, which features vibrant images taken in the fall in the park by artist Christina Zeidler.

Teen Queen Room

Tower Suite
Looking for a home away from home in your hotel experience? The Gladstone’s Tower Suite is all that and more. On the first level of the Tower Suite you’ll find a kitchenette and living room with original arched windows overlooking nearby Parkdale and Liberty Village neighbourhoods. The turret bedroom located on the second floor, accessed via a wooden staircase, has a second bathroom, king size bed and an incredible 360 degree panoramic view of Toronto. Once you check in here you’ll never want to check out!
