When I was little, I used to count the days until the Sears Wishbook landed on my doorstep in early winter. My sister and I would carefully pore over the glossy pages of the catalogue, perusing new toys and stuffed animals while we dreamed of the games we would play. We chose carefully and circled a few “must-have” items to add to our Christmas lists. I can still remember the smell of the thick catalogue. It was always the first sign that winter was here.
Just as the Wishbook inspired me to start dreaming about Christmas, I hope the newest Ontario magazine will inspire you to start dreaming about this summer!
The magazine has just arrived and it’s yours to circle, tear out and fold down corners as you make your own “must-do” list for the summer. And now available as a flipbook or in tablet form as a free download via itunes, there are a myriad of ways to start dreaming about your own Ontario “sandbucket” list. Whether it’s a daytrip to any one of Ontario’s beautiful Great Lakes beaches or a camping trip to Algonquin Park, you’ll find inspiration, ideas and planning tools to help turn your summer travel dreams into reality.
