Ontario’s Best Ice Cream – As chosen by you!

We all scream for ice cream! Summer is the perfect time to indulge in a delicious treat, and shops and corner stores across the province are stocked and ready to serve you. Where to start? We asked you where in Ontario can you find the best scoop, cone or ice cream sundae and here’s what you told us:

1. Twins Ice Cream Parlour – Port Rowan, Ontario
Submitted by Katy E.

First opened in July 1993, Twins Ice Cream Parlour serves tasty milkshakes, banana splits, sundaes, and of course homemade waffle cones. Grab a cone and wander around Port Rowan, a beautiful village on the shores of Lake Erie.

I loved Beachside Eats and Treats in Colchester! Brought the kids there recently and had a blast… There was music playing…beach volleyball splash pad and many more activities by this place…and the burger was awesome too, made with home are fresh buns.

We feature homemade ice cream & would love for everyone to come out and spoil themselves at our location :). We are NEW so you never know until you try.!!

You have to try Mapletons organic ice cream – awesome and it just barley beats out Hewitts dairy near Caledon.

KAWARTHA Dairy Ice Cream (and milk/cream) is the only kind we buy/eat. We use it in our Dining Room too of course. We live closest to the Minden store.
