Sneak Peek: “Ontario with Love” Postcard for TBEX

If you love writing about travel, you’ve probably heard of TBEX – the world’s largest gathering of travel bloggers, writers, and new media content creators. We’re thrilled to be welcoming TBEX-ers to Ontario at the North American Conference taking place  June 1st and 2nd in  Toronto!

When you arrive at TBEX you’ll find a special postcard in your registration gift bag. You can keep it for yourself, or drop by our table (Table TT 4) at the open marketplace to send it home to a friend with complementary postage provided by Ontario Tourism.

From Ontario, With LoveFrom Ontario with Love

On the postcard you’ll find out more information about #OntarioWithLove, the  special TBEX contest we’ll be running throughout the conference, which celebrates the creativity of Ontario artists by giving you the chance to take home a one-of-a-kind keepsake.  Find out how you can enter here.

But first, we want to introduce you to the designer behind the postcard. Meet Steve McLeod:

SteveName: Steve McLeod
Hometown: Wanganui, New Zealand
Years spent living in Ontario: 3
Favourite Ontario place: Algonquin Provincial Park… but I still have a lot left to discover.
Most surprising thing about Ontario: People say sorry to you when you bump into them.
Favourite Ontario culinary find: Poutine
Favourite Ontario drink: Anything from the great number of Ontario micro-breweries
Ontario Bucket List item: Dog sledding
Inspiration for the postcard: The vast space that is Ontario, and knowing there is a lot left for me to explore.

Whether the postcard reminds you of the shining lights of the world seen from space, the over 250, 000 lakes in the province, the rugged Canadian Shield, or your own favourite place, we hope you enjoy this celebration of Ontario!

Read more about the rest of our #OntarioWithLove artists next week, and don’t forget to keep an eye out for your own postcard in your registration bag.

Happy Travels!
