When there is a crispness in the air and the leaves start to change, it’s time to celebrate one of our favourite harvest treats in Ontario: pumpkin pie! We asked you where to find the best pumpkin pie and here’s a sample of what you told us.
Williamsford Pie Company – Williamsford, Ontario

Wholesome and delicious! Williamsford Pie Company is a labour of love for owner Laura Snider. Raised on a family farm, Laura brings the farm fresh flavour to her bakery using only fresh ingredients. Their yummy pumpkin pie is available by special order and is a favourite with cottagers and locals.
Stone Crock Bakery – St. Jacobs, Ontario

St. Jacob’s is renowned for Canada’s largest year round Farmers Market and the charming Village of St Jacobs. The Stone Crock Bakery uses family recipes to create delicious treats, including their pumpkin pie.
Whittamore’s Farm – Markham, Ontario

Whittamore’s is well known for the family fun offered year round, from games to hayrides to meeting the farm animals. Their farm shop is a great bonus, with fresh produce seasonally and home baked pies and tarts.

Andrew’s Scenic Acres – Milton, Ontario

Whether you head to the farm to pick up a pie, or have come across Andrew’s Scenic Acres at a farmer’s market, the fact is well known that their pies are some of the best you can get.

Williamsford Pie Company is amazing. Try to drive by without stopping. It is an old fashioned building, everything is home made, the coffee is great and the service is amazing and friendly. So many different varieties of pies..but get there early as she sells out fast at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Even local restaurants order these pies.
If you find yourself in the Peterborough area, I would highly recommend Enticing Cakes – their pumpkin pie is the bomb!! We even treat ourselves to it in the off season by special order.
