Dave and Deb are ordinary people who live extraordinary lives. They started the travel blog, The Planet D, as inspiration for people to travel around the world and live their dreams. They have explored all seven continents and over 80 countries.
This summer, they are doing amazing summer adventures right here in Ontario, Canada. Their summer itinerary is both daunting and irresistible: whitewater rafting, a moose safari, fly-in fishing, mammoth motorcycle trips and more. Guided by Ontario’s exceptional adventure experts, Dave and Deb are learning new skills and discovering new passions. It just might be the most purely “Ontario” summer ever attempted.
You can keep tabs on their summer adventures via social media, especially on Twitter and Instagram at #DiscoverON.

Consider a canoe trip to Quetico Provincial Park. Unlike parks in southern Ontario, Quetico paddlers are not scheduled to a be on a given lake on a specific day. Simply put, you are free to travel at your own pace. Better yet, you can camp wherever you please so there is no race to get the best site!!
All of this means that you will find yourself in a completely different state of mind as you explore lakes and portages of Quetico. The sense of freedom is truly intoxicating.
