“I’m in Ottawa for Winterlude, their annual winter celebration, which runs until February 16. One of the most popular activities is skating on the Rideau Canal. It’s the world’s largest skating rink!”

    For outdoor enthusiasts, there are also copious skiing places to check out in the Ottawa region, both cross-country and downhill. Beginners can rent skis at Lac Leamy.

    Ottawa is also becoming a burgeoning foodie destination – many new restaurants to check out in Westboro and the Market whilst your’re in town.
