The countdown is on to March Break and Blue Mountain is celebrating with a big line up of family activities. Here are six ways to make the most of your vacation at Blue:
Have a new skier in your family? Whether your kids are hitting the slopes for the first time, or you want to refresh your ski skills, Blue’s newbie lessons are the perfect way to develop your skiing skills at your own pace and on your own schedule. Drop in for a lesson, and work your way up to the big slopes with the help of instructors to guide you through each level. Already a seasoned skier? Blue has 42 ski & snowboard trails to thrill you.
Have a little one who is not quite ready to take on skiing? Hike ‘n Tube is Blue’s newest attraction and is the perfect slice of winter fun for children as young as three years old. Bonus: it is only $10 for an hour of access to the hill!
Blue Mountain’s Mill Pond is home to over 2 acres of natural ice. Whether you want to do figure eights, or join a game of hockey, the rink has more than enough room to make you feel like you have the whole place to yourself! Tip: Pack light and rent your skates at the pond.
Blue Mountain Resort is nestled along the Apple Pie Trail and the village restaurants celebrate the harvest year round with apple offerings like Royal Majesty Espresso Bar’s Apple Crumble. Head over to the original Blue Mountain Inn to check out The Pottery Restaurant which has lots of local ingredients on the menu to keep you fueled up for the next round on the slopes, including its signature Apple Pie Trail item the Apple Galette.
Blue Mountain Village is home to more than 40 boutiques, shops and restaurants. Warm up with a wander through the Village. A few favorites for your list: Go Fish Go, Bright’s Gallery & Reiner’s Original.
