About the Park: Home to over 100 km of hiking trails, park visitors can venture deep into the boreal forest to experience the backcountry, or follow the park’s rugged trails to the top of the giant for unbeatable views of Lake Superior.

About the Park: The park gets its name from its unique geography: rock formations that resemble a giant lying on its back.
FIELD AND FOREST
Ouimet Provincial Park, Ontario
About the Park: Thanks to the unique micro climate on the floor of Ouimet Canyon, you’ll see rare alpine flowers and arctic plants, which are usually found 1000 kilometres north of Dorion. The canyon was named after former railway station, Ouimet Station, which was located nearby on the Canadian Pacific Railway Line.

Restoule Provincial Park
About the Park: Paddle along the base of the 100 metre high Stormy Lake Bluff, or hike to the top for a view of the local landscape. This park is about an hour’s drive from North Bay, and is full of iconic Northern Ontario landscapes.

Grundy Lake Provincial Park, Ontario
About the Park: Enjoy countless inland lakes that offer endless canoeing and kayaking adventures. A mixed forest marks this area as the boundary between north and south, and is a great way to experience both Ontario geographies.

Awenda Provincial Park, Ontario
About the Park: Over 2,900 hectares of forested land on the shores of Georgian Bay, and beautiful west-facing sandy beaches make this a perfect park for sunset lovers.
